***Notice***

We are having an extra training of Jiti Dao for the filming on 27 July 2010

The Extra training is on 26 July 2010, just 1 day before the filming.

We will meet 2.45pm after school on Monday at the Quadrangle's corridor( Near Wushu Notice board) This is not compulsory, but hope you will come. So we can practice for the last time and familiarise with the routine. There will also be Dao for us to train :DDD

Hey! I need to know who is not free on 7 of August. Except for the people taking part in YOG. Please tell me (Jill) whether you are free a not on that day, cause coach will be choosing people whom are free on that day to go for the performance. Mass Wushu Display

Dear wushu members,

all of you are invited to take part in the Mass Wushu Display which will be held on 4 Apr 2010 from 7am to 12pm at the Padang or the floating stage at marina. This event is organised by the Singapore Wushu Dragon & Lion Dance Association and several other organisations.

There is no official rehearsal for this however, you are required to watch a video to learn some basic Taiji steps. It is very easy to follow.

Transport, breakfast and t-shirts are provided for this event. We are hoping that you guys will be able to take part in this mass display as they require about 3000 participants.

Information letter will be given to you on Monday (22 Mar) when school reopens.

Home Nursing Foundation Performance

It was a good exposure and experience for JJ, QF and Xav! They performed in front of about 2000 guests including President SR Nathan at Singapore Expo on 23 Feb 2010.

JJ got the shake the hand of the President too! Check out his BIG smiles in my FB photos.

After the performance they also got to take several photos with local and overseas artists like Chen Tian Wen, Zhu Xiu Feng and Xue Li (Mi Xue's sister). Do visit the FB album to look at all the photos.

Training updates

Dear all,

Good day!

2nd week of school is finally over. Hope you guys have gotten use to waking up early to arrive school on time. A reminder to all, do wake up on time and don't let me see you coming to school late when I go to the foyer to check on my late-comers.

Anyway, there is a change in the training day. We will revert back to 2 days a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 3.00pm to 6.00pm. Tuesday training is only for school team, whereas Thursday is for both school and non-school team.

Thanks to the Sec 1 pupils who went for the school team selection. We do need more girls, so ask your friends to come for the selection ok? For the Sec 1 pupils who were told to join the school team for training, I need you to start attending CCA on Tuesday and Thursday. As the the rest who are not sure whether you need to attend or not, let me check with Mr Teh as well as Jiao Lian and get back to you. Check the blog for more details.
