as training is going to resume on 7 jan for all, pls start to train a little to loosen your bones and muscles so you do not feel the strain when proper training begins.

during the 1st few weeks of training, we will be doing a re-selection for both school and non-sch team members in preparation for the national inter-sch in april. (competition is frm 6 to 16 apr 2010) we do hope we can spot more talents to take part in the competition.

There is a meeting on the 31st dec for the final confirmation of CCA fiesta at 8.30 am . Please attend it unless you have a valid reason . don't skip it cus you're lazy k (: if you have any questions , you can text me , or xavier . Any changes you feel that should be made as well and is really urgent , do the same . otherwise , bring it up during the meeting , but i hope there won't be any last minute changes that we must make . and sry you haven't been informed of this on an earlier date ;D

wushu chalet and other admin information

The wushu chalet was a nice gathering just before school starts! (: Those of you who missed this chalet cum BBQ missed a little fun. Next time we should have even more people attending the chalet cum BBQ.

Mrs Chia has left Pei Hwa Secondary School for another school and lets wish her the best of luck! Hope she will enjoy herself in her new school as much as in Pei Hwa. Let's welcome Miss Parvin back on board as she becomes the other teacher i/c of Wushu for year 2010 (She was in Wushu in yr 2008 if I am not wrong). Boring me and Mr Teh are still gonna be with you! (:

Back to proper business, on Monday (4 Jan), all Sec 2 wushu members are to stay back after school to prepare for the CCA Fiesta Booth. (Xavier: PLS INFORM ALL SEC 2 MEMBERS). You are required to check through all IT equipments and ensure everything is in order (for e.g flyers, posters, banners etc). Nicole is the overall I/C for this event. (Nicole, please coordinate the time with the rest.)

On Tuesday (5 Jan) school will end officially at 12.35pm so that all of you have enough time to prepare for the CCA Fiesta which last from 2 - 4.30pm. I/Cs of the different segments are to meet me at 1pm and ALL wushu members are involve in this event, thus you will need to report at the Wushu booth at 1.30pm for briefing on your assigned duties. You will only be release at 5pm as we need to clear up the area and do some admin briefing. Please be reminded that you are to wear your red Wushu T-shirt and your choice of the school's bottom or wushu pants.

Training on Thursday (7 Jan) will be on for ALL Lower Sec and Upp Sec Wushu Members from 3pm to 6.00pm and if Upp Sec pupils have ACE then CCA time is from 4 to 6.00pm. More information will be given once CCA training schedule is out.

For the chalet on monday :
Everyone please meet me 1pm at cp,near 7-11 and Mrbean.
We will then take 89 frm there to downtown east,and walk to the chalet.
Anyone who wna swim can just bring extra clothes,and please bring because you will be thrown into the pool by us.hahahahas.

Hello everyone.
The competition on 5th and 6th dec was a great success and enjoyment for everyone
who went for it :)
Not forgetting the performers too,who went on 5th dec.
And the people who stayed back to support the competitors,thankyou!
we managed to clinch gold for boys and girls jitidao,and gold for jitiquan too.
And for all the other single events and boys and girls sparring,we managed to clinch a gold too:)
The hard work we all put in during the competition period has finally paid off,
and let's continue working hard for the competitions coming up next yr!
Thankyou Mschng for all the effort you put in to plan the buses for us to travel to and back from
jurong stadium,and everyone for giving your best for this.
And not to forget,Mrteh for sacrificing his sunday night to come and have the dinner with us,MrsChia for....giving us moral support.And jiaolian for going to china(HAHA)no la jk.He's a good jiaolian kay:) and MrNg,our vice principal for coming!

Hello Everybody!

Last Saturday and Sunday's competition was truly a great learning experience for all of us! All of the performers, performed really well during the open ceremony. Good Job! Our supporters did a good job cheering on the competitors, I believe all the competitors really appreciated it (I think (: )

Well, we met a lot of China and HongKong's experts there too. They are awesome! During the the competition some interesting things happened, if you (those who did not stay) are interested to know what happen feel free to ask Miss Chng!

Lastly, all competitors you all did well in the competition! We won several gold medal! Well done competitors! All our hardwork and training were paid off.

P/S: Those who helped doing "labour" work during the competition, please remember to ask Jiao Lian for a treat! We can't do things for free right? So remember to ask from him.

Information for performers:
- Meet in school latest by 6.25am (bus leaving at 6.30am)
- Leaving Jurong East Sports Complex at 11.45am (reaching school at about 12.30pm)
- Wushu tee, wushu pants and wushu shoes

Information for supporters:
- Meet in school latest by 6.25am (bus leaving at 6.30am)
- Leaving Jurong East Sports Complex at 9.30pm (reaching SK about 10.15pm)
- If you want to bathe, you can go into the swimming complex to bathe
- PE top with any bottoms (just no shorts)
